An investigation into why South Africa is attracting the attention of global investors from all over the world

Increased interest from investors to a specific area within South Africa may be the initial signs that global corporations are seeing the African continent in an entirely new light.

Hout Bay has been the subject of significant interest from several large property companies in recent times.

Sue McDermott, the co-founder of Spacesa, said that the beach-front area of the region is particularly popular and offers “a lot more value” than some other regions in the district. Examples of this include Camps Bay, which is found close to that of Hout Bay.

McDermott explained how the range of properties available in this part of South Africa also contributed to the success, stating that the area’s popularity was influenced by the range of different properties which are for sale.

McDermott also highlighted Sear Point as another area of keen investment, being located slightly closer to town.

Other news concerning South African properties have seen house prices rise across the country, perhaps suggesting that the country has not been negatively impacted by the current state of the global economy.

Tony Clarke, the Managing Director of Rawson Properties, commented that this was a “positive sign” for the future of the sector, demonstrating how further growth is expected.

The idea of growth within the area is something which could potentially excite any corporations looking to take advantage of untapped potential.

Having recently hosted the Football World Cup in 2010, the South African economy is in better shape than many others on the continent.

Indeed, it is still the largest economy in the vast region and this alone will always draw in potential corporations looking to expand into new territory.

If you are planning to relocate a specific amount of your staff to the South African area, relocation consultants could help you with a number of issues that you might otherwise struggle to deal with sufficiently.
